When should we start taking lessons?

We typically suggest starting lessons 2-3 months from your wedding. Once you've selected a package we will suggest a start date. Keep in mind that we want to keep the lessons as close to the wedding  as possible.

Do we need dance experience?

No! At studio amore we've created a welcoming space to learn your wedding dance. Your professional instructor will guide you through the steps and teach you at a comfortable pace. We've created a learning system that gets you in our doors with little to no experience and walking out the door with a new skill that you can use forever!

What should I wear  for my lesson?

Comfort is key for your first few lessons. Wear comfortable shoes and attire. As we approach our final lesson, we highly encourage wearing your wedding shoe or a shoe similar to what you will be wearing for your dance.

What if  we are having a hard time picking a song to dance to?

If you are having a hard time choosing a song let your instructor know and they can prepare steps to try out on your first lesson to your song choices. Sometimes moving to the music helps to make that final decision.
